NAPIER PAPERS. Vol. LVI (ff. i+33). Book of memoranda, containing entries made at various times, with lists of articles, addresses, accounts, etc.; 1808-1843. Napier notes on f. 33, circa 1834, that he 'had this Book in my pocket in the Battle of Coruña' in 1809. There is a similar note for Miani (1843) on f. 16b.
Grey calf binding, with brass clasps. Included are:–
