The originals of some of these letters of Browning passed into the collection of Thomas James Wise and were printed by T. L. Hood, Letters of Robert Browning, 1933, pp. 19-263 passim, but only his letter to Richard Henry Horne, 3 Dec. 1848 (ff. 1-5), came into this Department as Ashley MS. 2534.
