RULES, orders and instructions for the future government of the Office of the Ordnance', drawn up by command of King Charles II in 1683, with (f. 43) 'An establishment of the annual payments and allowances' to the officers. Followed (f. 45) by 'Additions and amendments to the foregoing instructions' made from time to time down to 1759. It was presented (f. 2) in 1760 to George, Prince of Wales [afterwards George III], by Charles Frederick, Surveyor-General of the Ordnance.
Paper; ff. 94. Folio. 16 2/3 in. x 10 in. On f. 1. is the note 'Anto Forman script, 1760'. Bound in blue morocco,tooled,with the Prince of Wales's badge and motto on both covers.
