Scope & Content:: 'STATUTUMS. Romuli ad usum R[everendi] Dominici de Rubeis, I. C.' (the name has been erased and that of a later owner substituted, see below): municipal laws of San Remo codified and ratified 25 Oct. 1565 (or 1555 ?, see ff. 2, 2b), with additions, some of which (f. 15) are as late as 1707 or even (ff. III-112, inserted leaves) 1738. The general notarial colophon (f. 183b) is dated 12 Oct. 1717. Interspersed with statutes are a series of documents (ff. 78b-85b, continued on ff. 169 b-173 b) concerning litigation with the Genoese Republic, 1360-1362, and citing earlier deeds from 1125. An index is at f 3. Paper; ff. 183. Folio. 12¹/₂ in. x 8¹/₂in. A.D. 1717. Yellow calf binding, marbled end-papers. The name ' Pauli Hieronimi Robaudi' has been substituted for that of De Rubeis on f. 1.
