Ausszug derer Erbverträge des durchlauchtigsten Hauses Braunschweig Lüneburg', being an abstract of the various treaties of union or partition, and other evidences relating to the princes of the several lines of the House of Brunswick-Lüneburg from Henry the Lion, Duke of Brunswick (d. 1195), to Ernest Augustus, Elector of Hanover (d. 1698), as shown in the genealogical table (f. 6); taken from the originals at Hanover by Johann Gottfried von Meiern, Director of the Archives. Preceded (f. 3) by his dedicatory letter to King George II, dated Hanover', 24 June, 1732. An index of names and matter is added at the end. Germ, and Lat. Paper; ff. 430. Folio. 141/2 in. x 9 1/2 in. A. D. 1732. Bound in red velvet, having, on one side, the cipher G. R. surmounted by a crown, embroidered in gold, sliver, and silk, and, on the other, the white horse of Hanover, surmounted by a crown, embroidered in silver and gold, with similarly embroidered borders and corners.
