OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS of reports made by the Governors of the several North American Colonies in obedience to instructions from the Lords of Trade, 1 Aug. 1766 (f. 2), and from [William Petty, Earl of] Shelburne, Secretary of State, 11 Dec. 1766-13 Jan. 1767 (ff. 35, III), giving (a) an 'Account of Manufactures set up since the year 1734 and of the public encourag[e]ments given thereto', (b) the 'Establishment of the Colonies, distinguishing the different Funds and the application of them-the manner of imposing Quit Rents and granting Lands', and (c) the ' Fees of the different offices ... legally established or received as perquisites'.
