'A LIST of some very curious and early printed Books as they stand in the Library of His Grace [Charles Spencer,] the Dukeof Marlborough' [d. 1758], being the shelf-list from which the slips (Add. MS. 11512) were written, made under the direction of the Duke's secretary, Jacob Bryant, who has added some notes (ff. 1 b, 61 b, 67 b, 68 b) and (f. 69) a list of ten rare books printed subsequently to A. D. 1500 and three manuscrpts.
