TREATISE 'sur l'education d'un Prince': five letters in French, apparently to some reigning German prince, who is addressed as V[otre] A[ltesse] S[érénissime]. The author, whose name is not given, appears to have been at one time attached to the service of the Hereditary Prince of Württemberg (f. 16). He refers among other works (f. 46) to the Logique of J. P. de Crousaz 'de l'edition qui va paroitre en Hollande' (?Amsterdam,, 1737, dedicated to Frederic, Landgrave of Hesse). There are a few corrections (ff 58b, 61 b), which may be autograph.
