'LIST of the subscribers to Mr De Cort's Picture ... of the Ruins of Cliffden [Cliefden House, co. Bucks.] at the time it was drawn for, on June the fourth, 1798, the amount to be paid ... towards the Voluntary Contribution for the Defence of the Country.' Preceded (f. 1) by a signed address by the artist Henry De Cort [b. at Antwerp 1742, d. in London 1810], to the King, and followed by (a) De Cort's address to the subscribers, 20 Mar. 1798. f 10;-(b) the result of the lottery, the winner being Lady Juliana Penn [dau. of Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl of Pomfret, widow of Thomas Penn]. f 15 ;-(c) a copy of the picture in sepia. f. 17 b ;-(d) list of twenty-six pictures, presumably by H. De Cort. f.18.
