Vol. X (ff. 296). No title: a further continuation (n.d.) of the catalogue, dealing with MSS. 159. C. 16-162. B. 30 [i.e. Harley MSS. 6825- 7355], etc., by three different compilers, viz.: William Hocker who was responsible (ff. 1-258b) for MSS. 159. C. 16-162. B. 30 [i.e. Harley MSS. 6825-7355] (the description of Harley MS. 7051 (f. 246b) is by Morton), the Rev. Andrew Gifford (ff. 260-266) for Harley MSS. 7356-7511, and Charles Morton (ff. 267-289) for Harley MSS. 7512-7618. The manuscripts described at ff. 249-254 comprise miscellaneous material drawn from several presses out of sequence and include lists of rolls of parliament, etc. (ff. 249-252b), a catalogue of 'large Volumes lying in Table Drawers' (ff. 253-254), and manuscripts (7192-7200) from Presses in the 'further Closet' (ff. 253b-254). According to a note by Madden (f. 265b) Harley MS. 7502 did not belong to the Harleian Library but is' made up of a volume of letters presented after 1759'. At the end of this volume are, ff. 290-292, an 'Advertisement' describing the progress of the work, drafted by Charles Morton, circ. 1761 (sic Sir Frederic Madden, see f. 290) but printed in the 1759 Harleian Catalogue, vol. i, and, ff. 293-295b, a Concordance Table of the old press-marks and running numbers of the manuscripts. (The Index to the Catalogue was added later.)
