"LE livre de l'Ecclesiaste, ensemble le Cantiqve de Salomon. Escrites en diverses sortes de lettres par Esther Anglois, Frangoiso. A Lislebovrg [Edinburgh],1599." With letter of presention to Sir Anthony Bacon prefixed. Paper. The writing throughout is minute and delicate, and varies in form with every chapter. An ornamental title-page, the arms of Bacon, and the portrait of Inglis herself in pen-and-ink are prefixed. Each page is enclosed within a border, and every chapter has a tailpiece similarly executed. Bound in brown velvet embroidered in silver and gold. Octavo.
