"CANON Missae. Additæ sunt Præparatio ad Missam et Orationes que ab Episcopis [dicuntur] cum salemniter vel private celebrant; necnon gratiarum actiones Misse saerificio peracto. Juxta correctionem novi Missalis." Vellum. Written in Italy at the beginning of the xviiith cent. Bound in red morocco, very richly and finely tooled in golcl; the pattern relieved with silver. In the centre of each cover are the arms of Cardinal Piccolomini, and in the corners the word "Libertas " stamped on a crescent. See Add. MS.
