ESTABLSHISMENT, muster-rolls, accounts and other papers, relating to the army; 1640-1702. Among the contents are:-
1. "A List of the strength of his Majesties armies". . . . . ."as they are mustered at Selby before the 13th of August, 1640;" with the names of officers, f. 11 b.
2. "A veiw of armes, horse as well as foote, taken att Rotheram, 25th day of January, 1660 [1]," being a muster-roll of Militia in the West Riding of Yorkshire, f. 15.
3. Original petition from the officers of the ordnance to Charles II., for a supply of money for the ordnance service; [Sept. 1673]. Signed. With a reference to the Lord High Treasurer; Whitehall, 29 Sept. 1673. Signed by, [Henry Bennet, Earl of] Arlington [Secretary of State], f. 51.
