1. Seventeen fancies for two basses, of which nos 1-9 (ff. 1-6, 13-18) are by S[imon] Ives and nos 12-17 (ff. 8-12, 20-24) are by J[ohn] Warde (cf. Rowe MSS 112-113, King’s College Cambridge). ff. 1, 13.
2. Twenty-six sonatas for two bass-viols; whereof the part for the
second viol is wanting. Nos 14-21 (ff. 30b-38) are the 2 bass part of M. East, The seventh set... 1638. f. 25.
3. Fantasias in two parts. ff. 41, 43.
4. Sonatas for two violins, viol, and continuo. ff. 45, 55, 65, 75.
5. Sixty-five dances for two violins and a bass. The initials L. V.
occur frequently beneath these sets; the name of [Matthew] Locke
also appears at the end. ff. 85, 113, 141.
