" ORMISDA ": an opera in three acts, in score. The overture is arranged for harpsichord. A note, on f. 1, by Victor Schoeleher, refers the authorship of the work to Francesco Conti, on the ground of an identical copy, in the handwriting of Christopher Smith (Handel's secretary), being definitely so ascribed. This would appear to decide against F. Chrysander, who conjectured (G. F. Händel, 1860, vol. ii., p. 239) that the opera of the name which Handel arranged for his opera house in 1730, was that produced by Bartolommeo Cordans at Venice in 1728. Paper; ff. 150. xviiith cent. Oblong Folio.
