(Gr. xlii.) " A DECLARATION setting forth how and by what means the lawes and statutes of England from time to time came to bee of force in the kingdome of Ireland " ; written in 1641 (f. 46). With the note at the end, in the same band, "per Bolton, Hibern. Cancellarium, vt dicitur," i.e. Sir Richard Bolton, made Chancellor of Ireland in 1639. Printed by W. Harris, Hibernica, Dublin, 1770, pt. ii., together with an answer by Serjeant Mayart (p. 47), from which it appears that the tract, tending "wholly to prove that Ireland never was nor can be bound by any statute made in England before the same be confirmed by Act of Parliament in Ireland," was produced in the Parliament at Dublin on 6 Apr. 1644, and copies ordered to be made. The editor attributes it to Patrick Darcy, M.P. Paper; ff. 85. Duodecimo.
