(Gr. vii.) " ANNUALL LETTERS written, out of Japonia [Japan] in the yeare of our Lorde 1625. 1626. 1627. to . . . Mutio Vitelleschi, Generall of the Society of Iesus." With a dedicatory letter from the translator, Thomas Somerset, 5th son of Henry Somerset, Earl of Worcester [succ. 1628, cr. Marquess in 1642], addressed to his father. Apparently autograph. The translation is probably made from an Italian edition, Lettere Annue, etc., Rome, 1632.
