TITHE-BOOK of Francis Worrall, Vicar of East Peckham ; 1632- 1644. At the end are: (a) Notes of the tithes of E. Peckham in 1584-1592 from " an antient booke " of Thomas Brand, vicar, taken therefrom by Francis Worrall in 1644. f. 49 ;- (b) " A note of such fees as are to be payd in the Court of Rochester at there severall visitations," 1635. f. 50 b;-and, reversing the volume, (c) " A coppy of y greevances sustayned by me Francis Worrall . . . from the tennant to the Impropriation Mr. John Tucker," 17 Nov. 1638. f. 50. A note on f. 2 by Sir Roger Twysden states that the MS. was given to him by Thomas Worrall, son of the said Francis, 14 Dec. 1654, " to bee kept for the good of the parish and vicar." Paper; ff. 51. The covers are leaves from a 14th-cent. service book. Folio.
