ORDINANCES of Henry VIII. " concerning the ordering and service of his chambers and the dueties of his officers and seruauntes belonging to the same"; made "by thadvise of his most noble Counsell," 4 Feb. a 17 [1526]. At the encl are forms of homage and fealty (f. 20 b), and the form of " The renouncement of the Popes power and jurisdiction by the Busshops of England vnto the Kinges highnes," made out in the name of Stephen Gardiner, Bishop of Winchester (f. 21 b). On the old paper cover (f. 2) is written, "The Booke of Henrie [Fitz Alan], Erle of Arundell, Lorde Chamberleyn to King Henrie theight [1545-1550], and Copie of a booke signed by his Matie and deliuerid to the Erle le of Worcetour somtyme [1508-1526] Lord Chamberleyn to his highnes."
