Attilio Ariosti,' and are taken apparently from one and the same Opera. The instruments employed in most of them include chalumeaux, oboes, trumpets, strings (viole di gamba, lutes, etc.), and harpsichord. 1. Short introductory symphony for 4 instruments. f. 10b. 2. The first two are followed by ritournelles. 1. 'Al tuo piè,mio figlio e Dio.' f.61. 2. 'Dammi de le mie colpe un pien dolore.' f.62b. 3. 'Veder l'eterno verbo morir.' f. 65b. 4. 'Si tempra il mio martir.' f. 70b.
ff. 136-142. 'Exaltate Dominum‘; for 4 voices, with a bass, in score and separate string parts, by [G. Andrea?] Fioroni; 18th cent.
ff. 188-201. Sonata [in E flat], 'Per il Clavicembalo con Violini (sc. violino) obligate,' by Giuseppe Sardi (sc. Sarti); late 18th cent. The melodies of the three movements (Moderato, Adagio, Rondo) appear to be taken from one or more of the composer's operas, one of them being probably 'Le nozze di Dorina,' 1782. This volume contains the pianoforte part; for the violin part see Add MS 32171.
