PAPERS relating to the Malvinas, or Falkland Islands; consisting of correspondence between Don Francisco de Paula Bucareli y Ursua, Governor of Buenos Ayres, and commanders of Spanish warvessels, relating to the protection of the Islands, the prevention of the establishment of settlements there, and on the coasts of Patagonia, by the English and others, and miscellaneous papers; 1767-1770. Included are various accounts of the Islands, particulars concerning the removal of French settlers in 1767, and the withdrawal of the English from the north of the Islands in 1770. At the beginning is inserted the printed Parliamentary paper of official correspondence between the governments of England and Buenos Ayres on the rights of sovereignty over the Falkland Islands; 1833-1834.
