1. ff. 1-133. Book. i; 1658. Imperfect. The original title 'Manoscritto delle Chiese di Roma' is missing (cf. note on f. 55): present title (f. 1) 'S. Maria della Rotonda'. Inc. (f. 3, with old foliation '38') 'porta a mano destra in cima nel muro', with the missing preceding words 'La chiesa della Rotonda non ha facciata ... e nel entrar della detta porta', copied by a later hand on f. 1v. Missing leaves corresponding to '1-37', '91-105' of the old foliation, of which the remaining leaves are '38-90' (ff. 3-54, 56), '106-179' (59-132); f. 57, with old foliation '149' from another MS. Original first three leaves, with old foliation '1-3' are now Add. 8491, ff. 1-3. Table of contents (f. 2) with missing parts crossed out. Payment receipt (f. 133) 'A di 3 febraro 1658 ho ricevuto dall'Illustrissimo Signor Gasparo Alberi scudi decisette e settanta sono per le antescritte charte numero 179. Levandosi due per li bianchi et in fede dico ... 177 / Giorgio Ridolfo Ebmer mano propria'. Including (f. 58) a later note relating to the payment of a debt.
2. ff. 134-259. Book. ii; n.d. Imperfect. Title (f. 134) 'Libro Secondo'. Inc. (f. 136) 'La Chiesa di San Giacomo dell'Incurabili'. Table of contents (f. 135), with missing parts crossed out. Missing leaves correspond to '45-58' of the old foliation, of which the remaining leaves are '1-44' (ff. 136-179), '59-138' (180-259).
Paper; ff. 259, plus three unfoliated blanks after f. 96, and thirteen after f. 259; lacking 37 leaves after f. 2, 16 leaves after f. 90, and 14 after f. 179; f. 149 from another MS., possibly from Book xii in Add. 8496, after f. 310; ff. 55 and 58 later additions. 271 x 200mm.
