Old shelfmark in ink 'H.III.54' in paper slip (from lost original flyleaf) pasted onto upper left corner of front pastedown, with '598' added above in pencil. Trace of old shelfmark '158' on lower spine. '11' and '155' in pencil in top margin of f. 1.
Contents as follows:
1. ff. 12-226. Book. iii; 1658. Slightly imperfect. Inc. (f. 13) 'La Chiesa di Santa Maria Imperatrice posta vicino San Giovanni Laterano'. Leaves misplaced during restoration of the volume: the original sequence can be traced by following the old foliation in ink: '1-102' (ff. 13-114), '103-173' (ff. 157-226), '174-216' (ff. 115-156). Lacks leaf '177' of the old foliation. Table of contents (f. 12). Payment receipt (f. 156v) by Giorgio Ridolfo Ebmer, dated 20 Jan. 1658.
2. ff. 227-434. Book. iv; 1658. Slightly imperfect. Title (blank bef. f. 157) 'Libro 4o'. Inc. (f. 309) 'La Chiesa di Santi Andrea delle Fratte'. Leaves misplaced during restoration of the volume: the original sequence can be traced by following the old foliation in ink: '1-64' (ff. 309-371), '65-152' (ff. 227-307), '153-216' (ff. 372-434). Lacks leaves '114-115' of the old foliation. Table of contents (f. 308). Payment receipt (f. 435) by Giorgio Ridolfo Ebmer, dated 12 Jan. 1658.
Paper; ff. 443, plus ten unfoliated interleaved blanks after f. 156, and one after ff. 388 and 435, missing one leaf after f. 117 and two leaves after f. 271. Modern pencil foliation '1-435' (followed here), omitting one leaf after ff. 223, 328, repeating nos. 256-259, 297, 375. Original arrangement of books much disrupted by restorer. First ten leaves from other MSS., with old foliation in ink '1-3' (ff. 1-3: from Add. 8490), '69-70' (ff. 4-5), '131-132' (ff. 6-7), '86-88' (ff. 8-10). circa 275 x 200mm.
