Old shelfmark in ink 'H.III.55' on paper slip (from lost original flyleaf) pasted onto upper left corner of front pastedown, with '598' added below in pencil. Trace of old shelfmark '159' on lower spine. '5', '159', and '598' in pencil in top margin of f. 1.
Contents as follows:
1. ff. 1-124. Book. v; 1657. Imperfect. Inc. (f. 2) 'La Chiesa di S. Francesca Romana posta in Campo Vaccino'. Old foliation in ink '1-122' (ff. 2-123), with leaves foliated '97-100' misplaced after '110' (f. 107). Lacks at least eleven leaves after '122': cf. table of contents (f. 1), with missing part crossed out. Payment receipt (f. 124) by Giorgio Ridolfo Ebmer, dated 6 Jan. 1657.
2. ff. 125-211. Book. vi; 1657. Imperfect. Title (blank bef. f. 125) 'Libro 6o'. Inc. (f. 126) 'La Chiesa della Madonna Santissima di Loreto'. Old foliation in ink '1-37' (ff. 126-162), '40-45' (ff. 163-169), '60-88' (ff. 171-199), '129' (f. 210). Lacks leaves foliated '38-39', and '46-59' (this loss is pointed out by a later hand in a note on added f. 170), '89-128'. Table of contents (f. 125), with missing parts crossed out. Payment receipt (f. 211) by Giorgio Ridolfo Ebmer, dated 31 Dec. 1657
Paper; ff. 210+i, plus twelve unfoliated blanks after f. 124, and four after f. 211; lacking at least 11 leaves after f. 123, two leaves after f. 162, 14 leaves after f. 169, and 40 leaves after f. 199; f. 170 added later; ff. 200-209, with old foliation '123-132' from another MS. Modern pencil foliation '1-211' (followed here), omitting no. 165. 269 x 200mm.
