Fontanini Letter-Books. Vol. iii. 'Lettere di Monsignor Giusto Fontanini a Monsignor Passionei'; 23 Aug. 1706 - 21 Dec. 1726, with large gaps between June 1708 - April 1719 (only few letters for the years 1713, 1714, 1715, 1716, 1718), and Nov. 1719 - May 1726. Italian and Latin. Inc. (f. 3) 'Roma 23 agosto 1706 / Mi avete molto consolato', expl. (f. 199v) 'Roma 21 dicembre 1726 / Non ci era bisogno di scrivermi ... è il vostro vescovo, et hoc satis'. Preceded (ff. 1v-2v: originally front flyleaves) by a note and one additional letter, dated 27 July 1706.
Paper; ff. 190+v, plus one unfoliated blank after f. 2. Modern pencil foliation '1-199' (followed here), omitting nos. 141-149. 266 x 200mm. Main hand (a) for ff. 3-199v; cursive hand (c) for ff. 1v-2v and marginalia.
