The text is followed (ff. 106-124) by an appendix, inc. 'Darin eine special Verzeichnüss meiner Reyse nach Egypten sampt relation', expl. 'Die Attestation dess Erzpriesters Johanna Zu Alessandra in der Kirch S. Maria, ist folgendes inhalts. B. Im Nahmen dess gnädigen und Barmherzigen Gottes Jesus / Christi / Gottes / Sohn', including a letter to Duke Ernest I the Pius of Saxe-Gotha from Matthaios IV, the Coptic Patriarch of Alexandria (1660-1676). The MS. also includes: - (a) ff. 125-127v, three brief autobiographical accounts of his journey and the preparation of the relazione, in Latin and Italian, n.d.; - (b) ff. 128-133, repertory of German words and expressions and their Italian translation, n.d.; - (c) ff. 134, 135, autograph drafts for two letters, in Latin and German, n.d.; - (d) ff. 136-141, 'Gott sey lob', inc. 'Alle Menschen begeren zu wissen dass einige wass sie nicht wissen derselben bemühen sie sich tag unndt nacht damit sie in dessen erkanntnuss kommen können', expl. 'Wass duncket euch von dieser iungfrau gefalt sie euch fur wahr sie ist nicht gar schön, aber sie ist lebhafft', anonymous text possibly sent to Wansleben from Rome, in German, n.d.; - (e) ff. 142-145v, 'Laus deo', inc. 'Omnes homines scire desiderant id quod nesciunt', expl. 'sed est multo spiritu predicto', same text as previous art. (d), in Latin, n.d. '176' in pencil in top right corner of f. 1: uncorrect reference to the sale lot.

Modern foliation in pencil '1-145' (followed here), omitting added paper slip after f. 72. Two sets of old paginations: - (a) in ink '1-205' (ff. 1-105), omitting ff. 14-14v, 35v-36, and added ff. 37 and 72bis; - (b) in ink '1-37' (ff. '106-124'). 20 x 135mm: ff. 125-127 of larger size, folded. 19th-cent. quarter vellum binding with vellum covers applied over original decorated paper covers.
