VOL. II. Transcripts from 1503 to 1682; chiefly in English. A large portion of the volume consists of private and business letters from noblemen, bishops, abbats and others, to officers of the Exchequer; and of papers relating to the Augmentation Office, etc. Amongst them occur the following:-
