TRANSCRIPTS of the Calverley Charters see Add. Ch. 16,580- 17,202] by Simon Segar of Battle; 1714. Various pedigrees and genealogical notes concerning the family of Calverley, are inserted in the volume. At f. 190 are letters from Segar to Sir Walter Calverley, Bart., of Esholt, dated 1713; and at f. 255, "A Genealogicall and Historicall account" of the family by Ralph Thoresby., with two letters from him to the same Sir Walter., dated Leeds, 25 Sept. 1711, 8 Oct. 1717. A few letters to Sir W. C. Trevelyan are also inserted. Paper; xviith-xixth centt. At the beginning is the note, "Belongs to Sir John Trevelyan, Bart., 24 March, 1787. Isaac Heard, Garter." Folio.
