"THE Treasure of Pollicye: wherin ar conteyned Discourses, Relations and instructions of great importance for ye managing of negotiations, dependencies, affairs and deseignments of Princes." Apparently translated from the Italian. The author speaks of having served under the Duke of "Mania" in the battle of Lepanto, and refers to a book of Commentaries written by himself. The subjects of the discouses arel. Religion in its relation to the state, f. 8.
