Ordinance-book of Louvain [or Lowen, in Brabant], containing, together with an account of the Dukes of Brabant, a description of the government of the city, its privileges, lam-s, trade, guilds, etc. The first volume only, containing twelve chapters; the whole work, as appears from the table of contents, having consisted of twenty-two chapters. At the beginning is written, in a different hand from the body of the work, "Guilielmus Boonen me fecit, anno 1611-1616;" and, in a note by M. de Jonghe on the flyleaf, the MS. is described as "autograph et unique." Paper; xviith cent. Folio.
