'L' Eumene': opera in 3 acts, with symphonies and accompaniments for oboes and strings, and a figured bass for harpsichord, in score. The text is altered from Apostolo Zeno's work of that name, the characters being the same, with the addition of the part of Rosinda and the suppression of that of Aminta.
The composers of this opera have been identified by Roberto Scoccimarro as Gasparini, Leo and unidentified others, through a comparison of the manuscript's text with the libretto for the 1715 opera Eumene in the Venetian library Giorgio Cini (shelf mark is I-Vgc ROLANDI - GASPARINI C-F). On page VIII of the libretto is the following indication:
“Musica del signor Francesco Gasparini, con alcune arie di altri autori; e tutte le arie e scene segnate col § dono del signor Leonardo Leo, maestro di cappella dell’illustrissimo signor Marchese Stella, capitano della guardia alemana di S.E.”
