Printed, with autograph inscription, a note on the verso of the title-page concerning the many misprints, and extensive marginal annotations and corrections. The work was seen through the press in Evelyn's absence by Dr Thomas Triplet and Evelyn complained repeatedly of his negligence (Keynes, Evelyn: a Study in Bibliophily, p. 42). Beal EvJ 1.
