EVELYN PAPERS. Vol. CCCCLXXIII. `Catalogus Bibliothecae Evelynianae': a catalogue arranged alphabetically by author, entered on the left-hand pages in the early hand of Sir John Evelyn, 1st Bart., with many later additions of books published up to 1812 on facing pages, the latest in an early 19th cent. hand, and shelf-marks added in the left-hand margin; [early 18th-early 19th cent.]. Several 19th cent. engravings of Evelyn family portraits and of Wotton and its environs, chiefly from the first editions of Evelyn’s diary, have been inserted as preliminaries. Formerly Evelyn MS 22.
