V. Three letters of members of the Trevelyan family; 1900-1940. The first is a letter from Sir George Otto Trevelyan, 2nd Bart., to Mr Watson relating to favourable reports of a speech made by his eldest son, Charles, then Liberal M.P. for Elland; 11 Dec. 1900. Followed by two letters from his youngest son George Macaulay Trevelyan to [1st Baron?] Rennell; 5 April 1937 and 8 Oct. 1940. The second of these refers to the destruction of Holland House by enemy bombardment in Sept. 1940. Purchased from Roy Davids, July 2003.
