1. ff. 1-24. Capesthorne; 1952, n.d. Contains correspondence between C.E. Wright and Mrs Bromley-Davenport of Capesthorne regarding her deposit of Blore material relating to Capesthorne at the British Museum and photography of the material. Also contains correspondence with the John Rylands Library regarding the return of Blore material held by that institution. Rough notes on the history of Capesthorne, a copy of a letter of 1837 from Blore to J.D. Davenport of Capesthorne, a photograph of the original letter taken in 1952, and a typescript of a newspaper report of the fire at Capesthorne in October 1861 are also included.
2. ff. 25-75v. Hinchingbrooke; 1948-1952; n.d. Contains correspondence with Lt. Col C. Rivett-Carnac of Hinchingbrooke regarding dating a mural in the house and having aerial photography of the house and grounds carried out. The photographs are included, as is a transcript of a report from the Gentleman’s Magazine of the fire at Hinchingbrooke in January 1830. A copy of a letter of 1832 from Lord Lothian to Louisa, Dowager Countess of Sandwich discussing Blore as the most appropriate architect to work on Hinchingbrooke, rough plans of the house, and printed guides to the history of the house are also included.
3. ff. 76-82v. Ramsey Abbey House; 1952; n.d. Contains press-cuttings reporting the donation of Ramsey Abbey gatehouse to the National Trust, a photograph of a drawing of Ramsey Abbey House before Blore’s alterations, an aerial photograph, and rough notes on the history of the house.
4. ff. 83-85. Wiston House; n.d. Contains two picture postcards of Wiston House.
5. ff. 86-90v. Merevale Hall; 1952, n.d. Contains correspondence with Sir William Dugdale of Merevale Hall regarding Wright’s work on Blore, and an aerial photograph.
