A: f. 1v. Short list of the poems in the MS.
B: ff. 2v.-67v. A series of fourteen short Buginese poems in tolo' style. Including an episode in the life of Matinroe riGucina, king of Bone, and the episode of the death of the king of Goa (Tu-nibatta) whose head was cut off in battle. (Both of these kings ruled in the mid-sixteenth century.) Later the story of La Padoma and We Mangkawani (ff. 26r-30r: Maténa I La Padoma; ff. 30r-46r: Rilarianna Wé Mangkawani). The same poems are in Add. 12353.
C: ff. 67v.-68v. Makasarese poem (sinrili') by Arung Palakka on his divorce from Arung Kaju and his coming to Goa to pay homage to the king. Cf. Add. 12373, ff. 47v.-48r.
D: f. 68v. Buginese war-song (elong-osĕng) by Daeng Manrupái.

Dimensions: 340 x 220 mm.
69 ff., Dutch paper: 'D & C Blauw'; the final folio, of thin Chinese paper, is loose. 21 lines; black ink; original foliation on the top left corner of the verso of each folio.
Decoration: double decorated frames in black ink with some red ink embellishments on ff. 2v-3r; black ink floral motifs divide the poems, on ff. 7r, 12r, 19v, 26r, 30r, 46v, 50r, 52r, 54r, 55r, 56v, 61v, and 64v.
Binding: original covers of brown shiny paper on boards, with tooled frames and blind-stamped corner pieces and central medallions.
