Collection of small treatises on firearms, gunnery, etc., and teachings about mystical conceptions connected with military science. The treatises which are translations from Western (Portuguese and Spanish) sources and some of those from Malay works are identical to those found in Add. 12358. A: ff. 2r.-7r. Abransu Farguru. B: ff. 8v.-9r. Fahalajun Ahmad and Ance' Lati'. C: ff. 10r.-17r. Haji Bankatasi. D: ff. 18r.-25r. Andarae Ri Monyona. E: ff. 25r.-33r. Juan Di Moya. F: ff. 38v.-42v. Several tracts and teachings, showing a peculiar mixture of military knowledge, mystical conceptions, and well-known mystical sayings. E.g. the teachings of Tuang riBantang (i.e. Shaikh Yusuf, the famous Makasarese saint who lived in Bantĕn in the second half of the 17th century) on the mystical state of mind required of a person who is going to fire. G: ff. 82v.-85r. A poem (tolo'). H: ff. 89v.-96r. A poem composed by Arung Palakka at the time when Sidenreng and Soppeng were preparing for war. Cf. RAS Buginese Bugis 1, pp. 41-53.
