Fragment of a Buginese translation of the Malay Hikayat Isma Yatim. Divided into qiṣṣas and bābs. It begins abruptly in midsentence, telling how the children of notable people liked to go about with Isma Yatim and how their fathers and mothers loved him. The MS runs to what seems to be the original ending, where it concludes with the usual final words in Arabic.
In Bugis language and script; proper names (eg. Isma Yatim, Tuan Puteri) are always written with vocalised Arabic characters.
