3. ff. 3, 4. 'Submarines', two leaves each headed 'Kipling IV'. 270 x 215mm.
4. f. 5. Short score of the accompaniment of 'The Sweepers', signed and dated 'Edward Elgar, 1916'. With indications as to the rhythmic variations of the verses, and pencil annotations of the orchestration. 300 x 240mm.
5. f. 6. 'The Sweepers', headed 'Kipling II' with, on the reverse, sketches headed 'Kipling III' which appear to relate to the poem beginning 'Farewell and adieu to you, English ladies', from Kipling, Fringes of the Fleet, no. III. 300 x 240mm.
6. f. 7. Leaf headed 'Kipling VI', apparently relating to 'Where the East wind is brewed fresh', from Kipling, Fringes of the Fleet, no. VI. 280 x 215mm.
