1. ff. 1-9. Typewritten scenario with the title 'The Sanguine Fan' (f. 1), altered in manuscript to 'Echo' (f. 3), with the name of Lady George Cholmondeley added in manuscript on the title-page (f. 1). Includes typewritten revised leaves inserted and annotated further. 275 x 215mm.
2. ff. 10-15. Typewritten scenario with the title 'The Sanguine Fan', incorporating some of the corrections indicated above. 255 x 205mm.
3. ff. 16-33. Two typewritten copies of a scenario with the title 'Echo', substantially the same as those in arts. 1 and 2 above, but with a lengthy description of the opening scene not found there: (a) copy with the initials 'E.E.' in manuscript on the title-page (f. 16), a brief music sketch by Elgar (f. 22v) and a few indications of timings in another hand; (b) copy with the name of Lady George Cholmondeley added in manuscript to the title-page (f. 25). 275 x 215mm.
4. ff. 34-46. Advance notice, entitled 'A revue of modern Chelsea', of the revue in which the ballet was first performed, from Vogue, March 1917, and programme of the charity matinée which included the second performance, The Palace Theatre, London, 22 May 1917. Both printed. With typewritten copies of press reviews, etc. Various sizes.
