Gardiner, The Fortescue Papers, Camden Society (1871), p. 218; a letter (ff. 69-70) from Madame de Maintenon to the Comtesse de Caylus, 28 July 1708, published, according to a note at f. 68, in Collin's 1806 edition of her letters, vol. 5, p. 54; and a letter (f. 80) from Sarah Duchess of Marlborough to an unnamed correspondent, possibly Anne Pitt, 21 Sept. [1727, 1732, or 1738], apparently unpublished.
