Folio manuscript containing theological texts written or collected by 'F.S.', a Catholic living in Ireland at the end of the 16th and beginning of the 17th century. It has been suggested that these are the collected works of John White, a teacher at the Roman Catholic College at Douay.
Some of the texts have a monogram on the opening page.

- ff. 14-29: A brief declaration of faith, works, and our justification; against the opinion of these that say that faith only justifies. A.D. 1595.
- ff. 30-36v: Of the sign of the cross and crucifix. A.D. 1588.
- f. 37: The description of the body of Jesus being man: recorded in the chronicles of Antonius, Archbishop of Florence (i.e. the letter or epistle of Lentulus).

This manuscript was formerly owned by Colonel Henry Worsley.
The Harley Collection, formed by Robert Harley (1661-1724), 1st earl of Oxford and Mortimer, politician, and Edward Harley (1689-1741), 2nd earl of Oxford and Mortimer, book collector and patron of the arts.
Edward Harley bequeathed the library to his widow, Henrietta Cavendish, née Holles (1694-1755) during her lifetime and thereafter to their daughter, Margaret Cavendish Bentinck (1715-1785), duchess of Portland; the manuscripts were sold by the Countess and the Duchess in 1753 to the nation for £10,000 under the Act of Parliament that also established the British Museum; the Harley manuscripts form one of the foundation collections of the British Library.
