ff. 1-2 and ff. 107-110: Numerous added records in Italian in one hand, mostly relating to accounts, 16th century: sales (of wheat, etc.), lists of purchases, of letters written to various persons, mention of a donation towards the restoration of a church ( 'la donatione di m^a^ Maria di bast[ian]o minorbetti fu fatta addi 12 di maggio 1565' (f. 2v)), etc. These contain numerous names (Lapi, Mascalzi, Bartolini, Minorbetti, Ingrillani,...) including Alberto Contalberti (?= the vicar of San Miniato, near Florence, in 1619), dated 1610-12, Tuscany (ff. 1v-2v, 107-110).

Corrections and annotations in 15th-century cursive and in a 16th-century hand.
Effaced ?colophon (f. 106v).
Added notes in Greek dated 1471-1480 possibly recording the birth of children (f. 110r).
Decoration:
White vine initials on blue grounds. A few spaces for initials left blank. Catchwords written in the centre of the lower margin, sometimes framed with penwork decoration in the same ink (f. 62v).The white vine initials are painted in an early Florentine style and the manuscript dates to c. 1410-1420 according to unpublished notes of A. C. de la Mare at the Bodleian Library, Oxford.

John Gibson (fl. 1720-1726), dealer: sold to Edward Harley on 13 February 1723/4 (Wright and Wright, Diary (1966); Wright, Fontes (1972)).
The Harley Collection, formed by Robert Harley (b. 1661, d. 1724), 1st earl of Oxford and Mortimer, politician, and Edward Harley (b. 1689, d. 1741), 2nd earl of Oxford and Mortimer, book collector and patron of the arts, inscribed as usual by their librarian, Humfrey Wanley ‘13 die Februarij, A.D. 1723/4' (f. 1r).
Edward Harley bequeathed the library to his widow, Henrietta Cavendish, née Holles (b. 1694, d. 1755) during her lifetime and thereafter to their daughter, Margaret Cavendish Bentinck (b. 1715, d. 1785), duchess of Portland; the manuscripts were sold by the Countess and the Duchess in 1753 to the nation for £10,000 (a fraction of their contemporary value) under the Act of Parliament that also established the British Museum; the Harley manuscripts form one of the foundation collections of the British Library.
