This manuscript contains a fragment of a Sequentiary (ff. 1r-27r), containing Sequences for the Temporale and Sanctorale, with chants for moveable and Marian feasts (ff. 26v-31v), added in a German-speaking area.

ff. 1r-2r: The [Christmas] Sequence: 'Letabundus exulted fidelis chorus alleluia'; without a rubric.
ff. 2r-2v: 'In die pasche et duobus sequentibus'; with the Sequence: 'Victime paschali laudes immolent Christiani'.
ff. 2v-4v: 'In ascensione domini sequentia'; with the Sequence: 'Omnes gentes plaudite festos choros ducite Christo triumphante'.
ff. 4v-6r: 'In die pentecostes sequentia'; with the hymn: 'Sancti spiritu assit nobis gracia'.
ff. 6r-7r: 'In crastino pentecostes et in die sequenti . sequentia.'; with the Sequence: 'Veni sancte spiritus et emitte celitus lucis tue radium'.
ff. 7v-9r: 'In festo trinitatis sequentia'; with the Sequence: 'Profitentes unitatem veneremur trinitatem pari reverentia'.
ff. 9r-10v: 'In die consecrationis et in anniversario dedicationis ecclesie sequentia'; with the Sequence: 'Rex salomon fecit templum quorum instar et exemplum Christus et ecclesia'.
f. 10v: 'In anniversario tempore resurrectionis'; with the Sequence: 'Ave maria gracia plena'; imperfect due to loss of subsequent leaves.
f. 11r: A Sequence ('Supernae matris gaudia repraesentet ecclesia') for the feast of St Silvester; imperfect at the beginning due to loss of preceding folios, and now beginning: 'pro dignitate meriti semota jam caligine lumen vident in lumine'.
ff. 11r-12r: 'In commemoratione beate virginis in sabbatis in adventu domini sequenti'; with the hymn: 'Verbum bonum et suave personemus illud ave per quod Christi sit conclave virgo mater filia'.
ff. 12r-13r: 'A nativitate domini usque ad purificationem Letabundus tempore paschali. sequentia'; with the Sequence: 'Virgini marie laudes concinant Christiani'.
ff. 13r-27r: 'A festo sancta trinitatis usque ad adventum in sabbatis quando de beate virgine celebratur. Sequentia'; with the Sequences: 'Hodierne lux diei celebris in matris dei agitur memoria' ;'Ave mundi spes maria ave mitis ave pia ave plena gracia'; 'Jubilemus in hac die quam regine celi pie dicavit ecclesia'; 'Tibi cordis in altari decet preces immolari virgo sacratissima'; 'Stella maris o maria expers paris parens pia plebem tuam respice'; 'Ave virgo virginum ave lumen luminum ave stella previa'; 'Pater patris nati nata specialis advocta peccatricis a nime'; 'Ave virgo graciosa virgo gloriosa mater regis glorie'; 'Ave virgo gloriosa celi iubar mundi rosa celibatus lylium'; 'Salvatoris mater pia mundi huius spes maria ave plena gratia'; 'Inter natos mulierum hic iohannes vas sincerum principatum tenuit'; 'Christi sponsa katherina rosa rubens sine spina virgo vernans et regina costi regis filia'.
The manuscript contains a later addition:
ff. 26v (lower margin)-31v: A section with chants for masses for moveable and Marian feasts, some with German rubrics: 'am anderen Pfingstag' [Whit Sunday]; 'am achtenden oster' [Secund Sunday of Easter]; 'am oster montag' [East Monday]; 'von unser frawen nativitas' [Marymas]; and 'liecht mesz' [Candlemas]; added in the 15th century or early 16th century.
Decoration:
Large (2-line) and small (1-lin) initials in red ink and rubrics in red throughout ff. 1r-27r. Small (1-line) initials red, capitals highlighted in red, rubrics and paraphs in red throughout ff. 26v (lower margin)-31v.

Provenance:
The Harley Collection, formed by Robert Harley (b. 1661, d. 1724 ), 1st earl of Oxford and Mortimer, politician, and Edward Harley (b. 1689, d. 1741), 2nd earl of Oxford and Mortimer, book collector and patron of the arts.
Edward Harley bequeathed the library to his widow, Henrietta Cavendish, née Holles (b. 1694, d. 1755) during her lifetime and thereafter to their daughter, Margaret Cavendish Bentinck (b. 1715, d.1785), duchess of Portland; the manuscripts were sold by the Countess and the Duchess in 1753 to the nation for £10,000 (a fraction of their contemporary value) under the Act of Parliament that also established the British Museum; the Harley manuscripts forms one of the foundation collections of the British Library.
