This manuscript consists of a collection of works written by Paulinus of Nola (d. 431), including letters, Carmina varia (poems) and the first ten Natalicia (a collection of poems dedicated to anniversary of St Felix of Nola).
The numbers following the prose-epistles, which have not been edited in Dolveck (2015) are those of the Hartel's edition: Sancti Pontii Meropii Paulini Nolani Epistulae, ed. by Wilhelm von Hartel (Vienna: F. Tempsky, 1894).

Collation: i-iii8 (ff. 1-24), iiibis (ff. 25-26), iv-x8 (ff. 27-82), xi6 (ff 83-88), xii-xvii8,(ff. 89-136), xviii8 (the 8th leaf is a singleton), xix-xxii8 (ff. 146-177), xxiii10 (ff. 178-187), xxiv6 (ff. 188-193), xxv-xxvi8 (ff. 193-209).
Foliation: ff. 209 (+ 2 unfoliated parchment flyleaves at the beginning + at the end).
Script: Caroline minuscule, several scribes, from the same scriptorium, according to Dolveck, Paulini Nolani Carmina (2015).
Binding: Post-1600. Green suede; leaves from a late 13th-century or early 14th-century manuscript reused as endpapers containing Augustine's De Trinitate (XIII. 4-6 at the beginning and XIV.8-10 at the end).

Origin: ?St-Denis, Ile-de-France.
Perhaps produced in the scriptorium of the Benedictine abbey of St-Denis, according to Nebbiai-Della Guarda, La Bibliothèque de l'abbaye de St Denis (1985).
Provenance:
The Benedictine abbey of St.-Denis, Paris: 13th-century press-mark 'LB+' and ownership inscription (cut out) 'Iste liber...' (f. 1r); a 15th-century press-mark 'xvi.iiiiclxxi' (see Nebbiai-Della Guarda, La Bibliothèque de l'abbaye de St Denis (1985)); added 13th-century catchwords and quire signatures (e. g., ff. 24v, 26v).
Added, 17th-century notes for collation and corrections, the same hand also notes lacunae (ff. 19r, 58v, 175v, 198r, 197r, 203r).
The Harley Collection, formed by Robert Harley (b. 1661, d. 1724), 1st earl of Oxford and Mortimer, politician, and Edward Harley (b. 1689, d. 1741), 2nd earl of Oxford and Mortimer, book collector and patron of the arts.
Edward Harley bequeathed the library to his widow, Henrietta Cavendish, née Holles (b. 1694, d. 1755) during her lifetime and thereafter to their daughter, Margaret Cavendish Bentinck (b. 1715, d. 1785), duchess of Portland; the manuscripts were sold by the Countess and the Duchess in 1753 to the nation for £10,000 (a fraction of their contemporary value) under the Act of Parliament that also established the British Museum; the Harley manuscripts form one of the foundation collections of the British Library.
