Nine letters from Sir Walter Scott, Bart., to Anna Seward, of Lichfield, the poetess, containing many allusions to his Border Minstrelsy, Marmion, etc., and to Wordsworth, Southey, Hogg, Garrick, Mrs. Siddons, and others, his impressions on a visit to Oxford, his views on Ossian and his translators, etc.; 30 Nov. 1802-[1808]. Holograph. Five are imperfect at the end. Four have been printed in Familiar letters of Sir Walter Scott, Edinburgh, 1894; and for the other side of the correspondence see Letters of Anna Seward, Edinburgh, 1811. ff. 97-115.
