Grant by Walter Bellynchamp (so seal), Ireland King of Arms, to Thomas Barow, clerk, of canting arms, "a schochune of sabil a row [sc. a roe] of syluer in his kynd, a barre of gold, in the chef [erasure here] too flour delyse of the sam"; 6 Jan. 16 Edw. IV. [1477]. Printed, op. cit. p. 344. The arms in colours within an illuminated initial. Between the two fleurs de lys a gold cup has been erased, corresponding to the erasure in the description. Signed by Ireland, whose seal of arms is appended in wooden box with lid. 9 in. x 1 ft. 3.3/8 in.
