ACCOMPTS of the four Tellers of the Exchequer, showing generally the weekly balances under each name and the total balance; 5 Dec. 1662-28 Sept. 1670. There are considerable gaps between ff. 53 and 54 (10 Apr. 1663-10 Nov. 1665), between ff. 65 and 66 (30 Mar.. 1666-6 Sept. 1667), and between ff. 72 and 73 (18 Oct. 1667-22 Apr. 1670). The names of the Tellers are Laurence Squibb, John Loving, Sir George Downing, and William Pinckney (succeeded later by Sir William Doyly). Prefixed (ff. 1, 2) are similar accompts of John Brooke, - Carne, Arthur Squibb, and - Pitt, 5 Feb. 1636; and appended (ff. 107, 108) are miscellaneous accompts, 1668-1684, and (ff. 109-123) Exchequer accompts of receipts for the navy, 31 July, 1660-3 July, 1668, when Sir George Carteret was Treasurer.
