The collection begins with copies of the instructions of the English Commissioners, orders of Parliament, etc., 29 Jan.- 5 Feb. 1647[8], and includes copies, not only of letters and papers in the negotiations at Edinburgh, but of letters to the English Parliament, etc. See Journals of the House of Lords for 1648.
