AN ACCOMPT of the exports from, and imports into, the city of London for the two years ending at Michaelmas 1663 and 1669; followed (f. 59b) by an accompt of the revenue of the customs in the several ports of England for the year ending at Michaelmas 1677. On the fly-leaf (f. 1) is a note by Charles D'Avenant [Inspector-General of Exports and Imports 1705-1714], dated 1 Feb. 1711[2]: 'This accompt, as near as I can guesse, was taken in the year 1679. It … takes no notice of foreign goods re-exported. As to the goods exported, in general they seem fairly valued; but as to the goods imported, they are in most instances over-rated,' etc. Paper; ff. i, 60. Crimson tooled morocco binding.
